Biography
AS A BULLDOG:
2020-21: Played in every game this season (28), the most in his career thus far... scored the first goal of his collegiate career (shorthanded) in a 5-3 over Omaha (Dec. 1, 2020)... had his best statistical season with five points (1g, 4a)... finished the year with 12 shots on goal for a .083 shooting percentage... took two penaties for four minutes... finished with a career best +10 rating... was named to the NCHC All-Conference Academic team for the first time in his career... was named to the NCAA Fargo Regional All-Tournament team.
2019-20: Made Appearances in four games over the course of his sophomore season... posted an assist in a loss against Wisconsin for his first point in a UMD jersey... took 17 penalty minutes over the course of the year... had a +1 rating on the season.
2018-19: Got a healthy dose of shifts in while playing a support role with the Bulldogs' back end group ... played in 25 games and went a +2, but was held pointless ... made his collegiate debuts in UMD's opening two road bouts of the season (against Michigan Tech on Oct. 12-13 ... was a NCHC Academic All-Conference Team qualifier.
BEFORE UMD: Set up shop on the Waterloo Black Hawk blue line for one winter prior to moving on to the NCAA ranks ... scored four times and assisted on another seven goals in 53 regular season United States Hockey League games ...was a teammate of fellow UMD freshman Jackson Cates with the 2017-18 Black Hawks ... skated with North American Hockey League’s Minnesota Magicians the previous winter, but was also called up by Waterloo for seven assignments ... generated two goals and added 14 assists in 56 regular season outings with the Magicians, who are based out Richfield, Minn. ... took part in the 2017 NAHL Top Prospects Game ... spent five seasons in the Chicago Mission program (Bantams and U16) before launching his junior league career in 2016-17 ... is a 2017 graduate of Prior Lake High School.
