BEFORE UMD: Was the recipient of the 2015-16 USA Hockey Dave Peterson Goalie of the Year, which is presented annually to a top U.S. goaltender at the international, professional, collegiate or junior level … took part in the Ottawa Senators' Developmment camp this past summer ... enjoyed a record-breaking season for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in 2015-16 and led that United States Hockey League franchise to the Clark Cup finals, where they lost to Tri-City in the best-of-five series … rolled up a 32-13-1 record (setting a Fighting Saints mark for victories), a 2.46 goals against average and .a 913 save percentage in 46 regular season appearances that winter … was a two-time USHL Goaltender of the Week honoree in 2015-16 as well … Started all 12 Dubuque playoff games, including the title round series against playoff champion Tri-Cities …. joined the Saints in the fall of 2015, after rejecting pucks for a pair of seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League with the Pentiction Vees … went 34-9-3 with five shutouts in 46 regular season outings during his farewell Vee season and topped the BCHL in both goals against average (1.88) and saves percentage (.923) … received the BCHL’s Top Goaltender award for 2014-15 and teamed with partner Brendan Barry to claim the Wally Forslund Memorial Trophy as the league's top netminder duo (he landed that same honor the previous year with Oliver Mantha) … was named 2014-15 BCHL First Team All-Star and the Vees' Most Valuable Player after backstopping the Vees to both the BCHL playoff title (Fred Page Cup) and the Western Cup …. strutted his stuff in the USA Hockey National Team Development Program for two years (2011-13) and played in 38 games over that span ... graduated from North Branch High School in 2013 ... competed for two seasons (2009-11) with the Viking program and in 2009 posted the school's first-ever shutout ... was an All-Two Rivers Conference puckstopper in 2010-11 ... also lettered one year in baseball and tennis at North Branch High School.
