AS A BULLDOG:
2020-21: Played in eight games out of 28 on the season... secured his first collegiate point in a 5-3 win over Miami (OH) (Dec. 6, 2020)... dished out a career high two assists on the season... finished the year with a career best +4... had one block on the season... was named to the NCHC All-Conference Academic team for the first time.
2019-20: Saw significantly more time in his second year taking shifts in 27 separate games over the season... took three shots on the year.
2018-19: Found ice time hard to come by during his debut season in a Bulldog sweater  ... appeared in just two games -- (at Minnesota on opening weekend and against Minnesota State in the title game in the opening round of the Desert Hockey Classic ) ... was assessed one penalty and went a -2 in those two non-conference outings ... wore No. 28 as a rookie.
BEFORE UMD: Deftly patrolled the blue line for four different North American Hockey League clubs over three seasons before signing on with the Bulldogs ... concluded his NAHL career in May 2018 with the Minot Minotaurs, who were upended by Shreveport Mudbugs in the NAHL Robertson Cup finals ... was acquired by the Minotauros in a late-November 2017 trade with the Topeka Roadrunners ... racked up 12 points (six goals and six assists) in 38 regular season games and then added three assists while going a +6 over the course of a 12-game NAHL playoff run ... selected to -- and played in -- the 2018 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team ... joined the Roadrunners in 2016-17 after splitting time the previous winter with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights and the Amarillo Bulls ... is a 2015 graduate of Santa Mararita (Calif.) Catholic High School ... spent four seasons with the Eagles varsity hockey team.

PERSONAL: Born Jacob McKinley Rosenbaum in Laguana Niguel, Calif. ... is the son of Keith and Jeri Rosenbaum ... has two older siblings (Sean and Maddie) ... is the first Californian to ever enlist with the Bulldog hockey program ... is majoring in communication at UMD.
