Played in all 37 games...Was a steady presence for UMD...Recorded four goals and five assists...Netted one PPG, one GWG... and two huge SH goals against No.1 SCSU and DU.
2021-22
Provided solid center depth for the Bulldogs. Played in all 42 games on the season, bringing his career games total to 120. Notched career-highs in both goals (7) and points (11). Also added four assists. Finished the season with a +6 rating. Took a career-high 66 shots. Rolled off a three-game point streak during the NCHC Playoffs/Frozen Faceoff. Announced he will return to UMD for a 5th-year.
2020-21
Saw an uptick in production (career high nine points) despite playing in one less game (28) than last season... dished seven assists on the season... scored two goals on the year... took a career high 44 shots (.045 shooting percentage) on the year... finished with 16 blocks... was a +4 on the year... had nine peantiles for 18 minutes on the season... had a three game stretch where he scored five points (Jan. 29, 2021-Feb. 5, 2021).
2019-20
Saw time in eight more games than in his freshman year with 29 games in his sophomore season and dished three assists on the year to grab three points... took more shots this time around with 21 on the season, three more than his 19 last season... posted 21 penalty minutes on the season.
2018-19
• National Champion
Paid his dues providing the national champion Bulldogs with extra support at the center position ... took shifts in half of UMD's 42-game schedule (including the entire NCHC Frozen Faceoff and the NCAA Tournament run), doing so primarily on the No. 4 line ... came away with one goal (in a 3-2 setback at Western Michigan on Dec. 7) and and one assist.
BEFORE UMD: Entered the Bulldog program with one year of United States Hockey League training under his belt ... didn't miss any of the Green Bay Gamblers' 60 regular season games in 2017-18 and generated 15 points (nine goals and 16 assists) while going a +4 ... played an integral role in Hermantown High School’s conquest of back-to-back Hawks’ Minnesota Class A state championships in 2016 and 2017 ... racked up 48 goals and 71 assists in 61 games over the course of those two seasons ... centered a line as a Hawk junior that featured then senior assistant team captain and current 2018-19 rookie Cole Koepke ... was twice named to the Minnesota State Class A All-Tournament Team (2017 and 2016) ... also was an All-Lake Superior Conference performer in baseball (pitcher, outfielder and first baseman) with the Hawks.

PERSONAL: Born Jesse Allen Jacques in Duluth, Minn. ... is the son of Bob and April Jacques ... has one older brother (Luke) ... his uncle, Mike Jacques played hockey for the Bulldogs during the 1976-77 and 1977-78 seasons ... majored in finance and is in the professional sales graduate program at UMD.
