AS A BULLDOG:  A change of scenery awaits him in 2012, specifically a switch from defensive nose tackle to offensive guard  ... accumulated 19 tackles as a sophomore while backing up starter Buma Foncham in the middle of the defensive front ... logged a limited number of plays two years ago, partly due to a shoulder injury he sustained in late October ... finished with three tackles on the season ... was redshirted as a first-year freshman in 2009.

COLLEGIATE HIGHS: Total Tackles - 3 (3 Times). Sacks - 1.0 vs. Minnesota Crookston (11/5/11). Tackles For Loss - 1.0 vs. Minnesota Crookston  (11/5/11) and vs. Wayne State (9/18/10).

BEFORE UMD: Was a four-season mainstay on the defensive and offensive fronts for Two Harbors High School … received All-Polar League acclaim as a senior and junior and captained the Agates those same two years … helped lead the Agates to a Section 7A runnerup finish in 2008 … played under head coach Tom Nelson at Two Harbors High School … was also an all-conference performer in track and field for the Agates …also  lettered three times in track (shot put, discus, sprints) and hockey (goalie and forward).
