AS A BULLDOG:
2020-21: Saw action 20 games while starting 19... was credited with 10 wins, six losses and two ties... finihsed the year with a .907 save percentage (446 saves
 on 492 shots)... had a 2.40 goals against average (46 goals against)... played a total of 1151:57 minutes on the year... was named NCHC Goalie of the Week twice (Dec. 7, Feb. 1)... named to the NCHC All-Conference Academic team for the second year.
2019-20: Did not make an appearance.. was one of three freshmen named to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team and one of two cited as an ACHA All-American Scholar.
BEFORE UMD: Deftly turned aside pucks for the North American Hockey League's Minnesota Wilderness for a pair of seasons before enlisting his services with the Bulldogs ... posted a 19-18-2 record, a 2.70 goals against average and a .917 saves percentage in 39 appearances in 2018-19 ... was  selected to play in the 2018 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division ... was called upon in 36 outings as a NAHL rookie and had a 18-9-1 record, a 2.60 goals against average and a .922 saves percentage to show for it ... is the latest in the fine line of Wilderness talent who have gone one to strut their stuff at UMD, one that includes the likes of current Bulldogs Louie Roehl, Kobe Roth, Cole Koepe, and Koby Bender as well as ex-Bulldogs Billy Exell and Kasimir Kaskisuo ... graduated from St. Patrick's High School (Thunder Bay, Ontaria) in 2017.
PERSONAL: Born Ryan Gordon Armando Fanti in Thunder Bay ... is the son of Michael and Kellianne Fanti ... has one brother, Jared Fanti ... is majoring in business at UMD.
