BULLDOG CAREER

As a Sophomore [2012] - Appeared in all 18 games for the Bulldogs in her second season. Scored her first career goal in the season opener vs. Northern Michigan (Aug. 30) • Named to the 2012 NSIC All-Academic Team.

As a Freshman [2011] - Came off the bench to enter each of UMD’s 18 outings as a rookie midfielder • racked up nine shots on the year, firing a season-high three attempts in a 4-2 win at Upper Iowa Sept. 25.

BEFORE UMD
Is a 2011 graduate of Brookings High School • owns the distinction of being the first-ever soccer Bulldog from the state of South Dakota • a four-year starter and letterwinner for the Bobcats • was named to the South Dakota All-State Second Team as both a junior and a senior • was voted Most Valuable Player for two straight years (2009 and 2010) • held a two year reign as captain for the Bobcats for both her junior and senior year • earned the Varsity Athlete Scholar Award from 2007-2010 • was very involved outside of athletics as she was vice-president for the National Honor Society, in both the concert and jazz bands and was a South Dakota Girl’s State Representative for 2010.

PERSONAL: Born Katelyn Lane Schneider on November 4, 1992 in San Antonio, Texas • daughter of Todd and Chelli Schneider • has one older brother (Jacob) and one younger brother (Chris).
