2021: Started in 6 games as a freshman, playing in 17 of the 18 contests.  Was thirds on the team in goals (2) while compiling 12 shots with 8 on goal. 
BEFORE UMD: A 2021 graduate of Marshall School...named team captain in 2020...made all-conference and all-area teams in 2020...earned Lunch Bucket Award and participated in the all-star game in 2020...2018 section champion and state tournament participant...played club soccer for both Real Colorado and Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club...received Minnesota Youth Soccer Association Award of Achievement in 2019...ODP state team member from 2018-19...participated in Midwest ODP ID selection camp in 2019...member of Midwest ODP Team from 2019-20...attended inter-regional tournament in Florida in 2019...attended West Ham National and International academies from 2015-18...earned four letters in hockey and five letters in track while at Marshall...captained both hockey and track teams in 2010-21...section finalist in hockey from 2019-21...section finalist in track from 2017-21...awarded Black and Gold Award as a member of the hockey team in 2019-20...won Rookie of the Year as a member of the track team in 2018...all-conference in track in 2019...member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born Emilia Ann McGiffert in Duluth, Minn...is the daugher of Wells and Kristy McGiffert...has two siblings, Bianca and Giulia...is majoring in biochemistry and minoring in biology at UMD.
