BULLDOG CAREER
2018 (Junior) Was given a more prominent role making seven starts in 18 games • dialed up one assist in the 2-0 win over MSU Moorhead on Oct. 7 • also collected four shots, two on goal, both season-game highs in that contest • finished the season with 16 shots, five landing on net • tallied 652 minutes with three games with over 50 minutes • collared four straight starts from Sept. 5 to Sept. 16 • recorded at least two shots on five occasions.

2017 (Sophomore) Took the pitch 17 times in her second season, playing 617 minutes • tallied three starts including her first collegiate start against Minnesota State Moorhead on Sept. 22 • picked up five points during her sophomore campaign with a pair of goals and an assist • racked up her first collegiate goal and assist in the 2-2 draw against Concordia-St. Paul on Sept. 17 • scored her second goal the next match versus the Dragons • attempted 18 shots, landing seven on goal • was one of seven Bulldogs in 2017 to grab first collegiate points.

2016 (Freshman) Appeared in 17 games for the Bulldogs, making her the first person in program history to play from China • picked up two shots on goal against Northern State • six of her eight shots were sent on net, good for a .750 shot on goal percentage • played a season-high 37 minutes against Minnesota State.

BEFORE UMD A 2016 graduate of St. Louis Park High School • started for four seasons for the Orioles and head coach Benjamin Kent • voted All-Minnesota State in her senior season • earned All-Metro West Conference honors the last two seasons as St. Louis Park’s leading scorer • served as team captain in 2015 • earned Academic All-Conference honors as a season • voted team MVP in 2015 • also participated in gymnastics in 2012-13.

PERSONAL Born Emily Ann Hinz on Nov. 15, 1997 in Nanchang Jiangxi, China • daughter of Mary Hinz • has one sister, Katie • while at St. Louis Park, participated in National Honor Society, yearbook staff, and MED club • plans to major in cellular and molecular biology at UMD.
