BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Bay Port High School • played three seasons and started twice for the Pirates • voted team captain the past two seasons • part of a Regional Championship team in 2013 • received the Bay Port Coaches Award for best female athlete in 2014-15 • played on Allouez United club soccer team • also played volleyball for two seasons as a defensive specialist, receiving the best teammate award.

PERSONAL: Born Emily Sue Ross on Aug. 27, 1997 • daughter of Rhonda and Michael Ross • has one sister, Erin • member of student council, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes in high school • Big Borthers, Big Sisters mentor • plans to major in integrated elementary and special education at UMD.
