Biography

BULLDOG CAREER
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Pascarella finished her first go around with UMD playing in 16 games... started in two games... played in 405 minutes on the year... finished the year with one goal, coming in a 1-1 tie against Upper Iowa University... took seven shots with six hitting the net, finishing with a .857 shots on goal percentage... took four shots and hit the net four times in a 2-3 loss against Michigan Tech University.

BEFORE UMD: Arrived to UMD during the 2019 spring term to continue her academics and athletic career • enjoyed a successful two-year stint at Johnson County Community College (2017-2018) with 12 goals and 10 assists for 34 points • netted nine points with four goals and an assist in a 7-0 playoff win, earning Kansas Jayhawk Community Conference Athlete of the Week ... also a third-team NJCAA Academic Student Athlete • played her club soccer at Sporting Blue Valley and was a 2017 graduate from Blue Valley Northwest High School.

PERSONAL: Born Kara Alease Pascarella in Leawood, Minn. • is the daughter of John and Lisa Pascarella • has three siblings, Cassie, John-Patrick and Jordan • father played professionally with Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy and was an assistant coach for Sporting KC (MLS) and goalkeeping coach for Minnesota United FC (MLS), currently the head coach for OKC Energy (USL Championship) • will major in business administration at UMD.
