BULLDOG CAREER
2017 (Junior) Appeared in 16 games, making a start in six of those contests • picked up her first collegiate assist and point in the season opener against Wisconsin-Parkside on Aug. 31 • tallied a pair of goals including her first career -- and the game winner -- against Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 14 • netted her other goal on Oct. 22 at Wayne State • put five shots on goal on 14 shots • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2016 (Sophomore) Made her first collegiate start versus Northern Michigan on Sept. 11 • played in nine games, logging over 20 minutes on six occasions • sent a shot on goal against Minnesota Crookston on Oct. 28 • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2015 (Freshman) Appeared in 14 games in her first collegiate go-around • lifted a shot-on-goal against Northern State on Sept. 20 • played a season-high 37 minutes against NSU as well as against Minnesota Crookston on Oct. 30.

BEFORE UMD A 2015 graduate of Maple Grove Senior High School • played four seasons, three as a starter, for the Crimson • received an All-Northwest Suburban Conference selection her junior season, and All-Conference honorable mentions her senior and sophomore seasons • played for the North Suburban Soccer Association Blast club soccer team, the three-time State Cup champions.

PERSONAL Born Madison Marie Carey on Jan. 17, 1997 in Decatur, Ill. • daughter of Shelley and Curt Carey • has one brother, Chase, who played four seasons of soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Superior • plans to major in marketing at UMD.
