Biography

BULLDOG CAREER
2021: Started in 9 of 16 games in which she saw action for the Bulldogs.  She took 12 shots with 4 being on goal.  Finished with 2 assists (both against Minnesota Crookston) while playing a total of 854 minutes. 
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Griffin-Wiesner enjoyed her first year with the Bulldogs, playing in seven games on the year, playing in 127 minutes on the year...she took one shot and had that one shot hit the net finishing with a 1.000 shots on goal percentage.

BEFORE UMD: A 2019 graduate of Robbinsdale Cooper High School...five-year starter that played as a center midfielder and center back for head coach Nick Wetherall...piled up accolades in her final prep season • was the captain for the Hawks and garnered MVP status from her teammates...an All-Metro West Conference First Team selection and an all-state nominee...attained all-conference honorable mention in 2015-2017...a four-sport athlete at Robbinsdale Cooper competing in track, cross country and Nordic skiing...played her club soccer with Maplebrook SC.

PERSONAL: Born Nora Elizabeth Griffen-Wiesner in Golden Valley, Minn...is the daughter of John and Jennifer Griffin-Wiesner...has one older brother, Issac...a member of National Honor Society, student council, Spanish Honor Society, Chamber Singers, Superintendent Student Voices, Activists for Change and an nominee for Excel Award and the Triple A Award at RCHS...majoring in International Studies & Sociology at UMD.
