• Compiled 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists in 33 games as a rookie
• Had five games with two or more points recorded, including a career-best effort of three points on three assists at Miami (OH) on Nov. 16, 2024
• Scored a goal and an assist in his first game as a Bulldog against Bemidji State at home on Oct. 6, 2024.

BEFORE UMD: 2022 NHL Entry Draft Pick (Pittsburg Penguins, Round 5 #150) ... helped the Fargo Force win the USHL Clark Cup, as well as the Western Conference regular=season title and Anderson Cup as USHL regular-season champions in 2023-24 ... named to the 2023-24 All-USHL Second Team after averaging 1.25 points per game for the Force with 71 points (26 g, 45a) in 57 regular season appearances ... skated 18 games (10 points, 4g, 6a) for the Force in 2022-23 after coming from the Chicago Steel after skating in 33 games ... compiled 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists in 33 appearances with the Steel, where he also skated in 2021-22 after his Hermantown High School season ended with a state Class A title ... scored twice in the championship game and was named to the 2022 Boys Hockey State All-Tournament Team ... racked up 64 points on 24 goals and 40 assists in just 22 goals with the Hawks over his junior campaign ... in just 42 high school games, rolled up 125 points (54 goals, 72 assists) -- a2.97 ppg average and the highest in program history ... twice a Minnesota Associated Press All-State Second Team honoree in both 2022 and 2021 ... was named the 2022 Duluth News Tribune Player of the Year ... twice a All-Lake Superior Conference First Team selection ... skated with U.S Hockey in the 2023 World Jr. A Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia (3rd Place) and the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Pieštany, Slovakia and Breclav, Czech Republic (5th Place).

PERSONAL: Son of Derek and Kristi Plante ... Derek played hockey for the Bulldogs from 1989-93 and was a Hobey Baker finalist in 1992-93 ... Kristi was both a standout basketball player (1991-1995) and softball player for UMD (1993-95) ... has two brothers (Max, Victor) ... younger brother Max is currently a Bulldog teammate ... is a business major at UMD.
