Biography

AS A BULLDOG: 
2018: Did not compete for the Bulldogs, but did attend UMD (and did an internship outside of school).
2017: Appeared in six games while primarily filling a special teams role for the second straight year ... closed out the season with 10 total tackles (five solos and five assists), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery ... also rushed once (out of punt formation) for four yards in a 41-0 thumping of host Northern State on Oct. 14.
2016: Gained notice for his stellar special teams play, but got a small sampling of linebacker life as well ... played in each of the team's 12 games ... rolled up 13 special teams tackles -- a total unsurpassed by any Bulldog -- all on kickoffs.
2015: Was red-shirted as a first-year freshman.
BEFORE UMD: Three-year starter at Park High School ... captained the 2014 Wolfpack and corralled All-Suburban East Conference acclaim that year ... was the recipient of the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player as a senior ... played for head coach Darin Glazier ... earned Academic All-State honors during his farewell prep football season  ... lettered twice in basketball (forward) at Park High School.
PERSONAL: Is the son of Eric and Anne Gorres ... is majoring in chemical engineering at UMD.
COLLEGIATE HIGHS: Total Tackles - 3 (3 Times). Tackles For Loss - 1.0 at Minot State (10/8/16).
