AS A BULLDOG: Will serve as a team co-captain in 2016 -- her third, and final, year with the Bulldogs (she will graduate from UMD this May) ... rolled up a 9-7 singles record last spring with most of her activity coming at No. 5 ... those nine victories were a Bulldog high ... engaged in no doubles play as a sophomore ... was the lone Bulldog besides senior Alyssa Brunelli to compete at No. 1 singles in 2015 (0-1) ... made the UMD Athletic Scholar List -- for the second straight time --  for possessing the best highest grade point average of any tennis player during the 2015-16 school year (3.91) and was an NSIC All-Academic Team honoree as well ... wasted little time in making herself right at home in her new tennis surroundings two years ago ... ranked second among 2014 Bulldogs in singles victories -- reeled off three straight wins to concluded the year an even 5-5 (all at No. 4) ... took part in just a pair of doubles matches as a freshman, going 0-2.  BEFORE UMD: Is a 2013 graduate of Luverne High School ... was a four-time letter winner for the Cardinals and received All-Southwest Conference recognition three times (2010-12) ... captained the Cardinals as a senior ... earned a spot at the Minnesota State Championship her senior year ... named Academic All-State as a senior ... lettered three years in basketball (pointguard) and six times in track (400 and 800) as a Cardinal. PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Brian and Karen Wohnatka ... has two brothers, Joel and Erik ... is majoring in biology at UMD.
