2018 Team Co-Captain

AS A BULLDOG:
2017: Teamed with doubles partner Kelsey Zetah to go 8-11 -- all at No. 1 -- en route to becoming  the first Bulldogs since 2012 to attain All-NSIC honors (they were honorable mention picks) ...served as a team co-captain for a UMD club that advanced to their first NSIC Tournament in six years ... handled the Bulldogs' No. 1 singles duties for a second consecutive year and following a slow start (0-6), rebounded to close the year at 7-12, matching a career best for wins ... was an NSIC All-Academic Team qualifier.
2016: Received a promotion, moving up to No. 1 and No. 2 singles ... compiled a  3-5 record at No. 1 and was 1-8 at No. 2 ...  paced UMD in doubles victories (7-10 overall -- and 5-7 while paired with Drew DeCorsey at No. 1) ... joined five other Bulldogs on the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015: Was a most promising addition to the Bulldog program ... finished the year with a 7-8 singles record, logging the majority of her court time (12 of 15 matches) at No. 3 ... went 5-1 between Feb. 14-28 and won four in a row during that span ... her rookie year resume also included a 6-10 doubles mark (6-9 with Drew DeCorsey at No. 2).
BEFORE UMD: Is a 2014 graduate of Hopkins High School… was a five-time letterwinner for the Royals and landed a spot on the All-Lake Conference Team as a sophomore, junior and senior … captained the Royals during her final two prep seasons and was named the team's Most Valuable Player both of the years.
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Loran and Cheryl Benkofske … has one older brother (Cullan) …is majoring in biology at UMD.
