Biography

2021 (Sophomore): Eckman made her Bulldog debut in 2021, playing in a total of 7 games. In those 7 games, she sparked the offense with 17 kills and 2 assists. 

2020 (Freshman): Season canceled due to Covid-19.

BEFORE UMD: Before coming to UMD, Eckman enjoyed a four year playing career with Brainerd High School under Rick Kuehlwein. She was an MVP for three consecutive years, and lead the team in kills in her final year while serving as team captain. She was a three time All-Central Lakes Conference selection who totaled over 1,000 career kills and earned MSHSL Volleyball Coaches Academic All-State honors in her senior campaign.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Nate and Kari Eckman, and has two siblings Gabby and Archer. She plans to major in Criminology while attending UMD.
