BEFORE UMD: Will sit out the entire 2013-14 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules ... transferred to UMD after spending the 2012-13 season just down the road at the College of St. Scholastica ... led all National Collegiate Hockey Association rookie blueliners in scoring with 19 points (seven goals and 12 assists) ... his six power play scores last winter were unmatched by any NCAA III freshman defensemen in the country while his point harvest ranked fourth nationally ... played in 25 of the Saints' 28 engagements ... capped off a rewarding two-year Manitoba Junior Hockey League career in 2012-13 by being named that circuit's Most Valuable defenseman and to its All-Star Team ... finished as the top-scoring point man (62) and assist leader (46) in the MJHL that winter ... captained the 2012-13 Dauphin Kings ... accumulated 44 points in 45 regular season games with Dauphin one year earlier after commencing that season as a member of the Sasketchewan Junior Hockey League's Humboldt Broncos ... made just eight appearances with the Broncos in 2011-12 and 24 the previous season, collecting a combined seven points -- including four goals -- along the way.
