UMD Athletics

Rachel is in her second year as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD).

Originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 2022. She then returned to her hometown to pursue her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, graduating in 2025.

Before joining UMD, Rachel gained clinical experience working with women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, and football, as well as spending a season with the women’s hockey team at the University of St. Thomas. At UMD, she provides sports medicine and health care services to the volleyball, softball, and track and field teams.

Rachel is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and is certified in dry needling.
