BULLDOG CAREER
2014 Outlook: Will continue to lead the Bulldogs on the defensive end alongside senior libero Julie Rainey and provide offensive punch on the outside.

2013 (Junior): Started all 36 matches for the Bulldogs on the back line as an outside defensive and offensive force • averaged 3.12 digs and 1.19 kills per set • collected a career-high 15 kills and 17.5 points at Wayne State (Neb.) College on Oct. 25 • collected double-doubles in back-to-back games vs. Wayne and Augustana (S.D.) College on Oct. 25-26 • opened her season with a career-high 23 digs against Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 6 • posted career season-highs in kills, assists, service aces, and digs.

2012 (Sophomore): Played in 30 matches including 29 starts • Finished in an eighth place tie in service aces per game in the NSIC • Led returning Bulldogs in service aces (second overall).

2011 (Freshman): Spent her rookie season getting acclimated with the collegiate game and NSIC competition as a backup • entered 10 matches and played in 11 sets on the year, collecting 13 kills on 39 swings • made her NCAA II postseason debut in the third set of UMD’s Central Regional semifinal matchup with Concordia-St. Paul, attempting one swing.

BEFORE UMD: Earned four letters, starting three years at East Troy High School • captained the volleyball team in 2009 and 2010, receiving first-team All-Rock Valley Conference honors and all-state honorable mention both years • named 2010 MVP of the Rock Valley Conference• was selected all-conference second-team in 2008 • played three years of softball, and was selected to the All-Rock Valley Conference first team in 2009 and 2010 • earned all-state honorable mention in softball in 2010, and received the 2010 Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association All-District Award.

PERSONAL: Born Kaitlyn Marie Ledwell on Nov. 24, 1992 • daughter of Guy Ledwell and Ruth Wampner • has two younger siblings, Brecken and Alex.
