Biography

BEFORE UMD: Capped off his pre-UMD training with a one-year United States Hockey League stint in Omaha with the Lancers...  had 24 points to his credit last winter, scoring nine times and setting up 15 other goals ...  picked up 10 points while the Lancers had the man advantage ...  got off to a fast and promising start before enduring a broken finger on Jan. 26 ...missed nearly a third of the 2012-13 regular season (18 of 64 games) while nursing injuries ...  joined the United States National Team Development Program (NTDP) in 2009-10 after leading all Minnesota high school freshmen the previous winter ... totaled a combined four goals and 19 assists  in two seasons of work with the USNTDP Under-18 (2011-12) and Under-17 (2010-11) teams ... bolted from the prep scene following just one season with the Lakeville South High School varsity ... made the most of that brief time with the Cougars by pacing them with 63 points (19 goals and 44 assists).
