BULLDOG CAREER
2014 Outlook: Should see more time on the court as the Bulldogs look to replenish the offensive punch lost to graduation following the 2013 season.

2013 (Junior): Played in all 36 matches as the first hitter off the bench for UMD, earning All-NSIC Second Team honors for her efforts • knocked down a career-high 14 kills on Sept. 7 against Southern Indiana • had four double-digit kill performances with 13 on a .480 attack percentage at Augustana on Oct. 26 • collected a career-high five blocks against St. Cloud State on Sept. 24, nearly matching that mark on Nov. 2 against Southwest Minnesota • tallied career highs in kills, assists, digs, and points, as well as attack percentage.

2012 (Sophomore): Played in all 34 matches in her first season with the Bulldogs including two starts • finished with 219 kills • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.

Siroin sat out the 2011 season after transferring from Minnesota State University Mankato, where she appeared in six matches during the 2010 season.

BEFORE UMD: Started as an outside hitter and middle blocker for four years at Washburn High School, being selected for All-Indianhead Conference honors four straight years from 2006-09 • named to Wisconsin All-Star team, and earning all-state honorable mention • made the Sprawl All-Tournament team for three seasons • captained Washburn volleyball for three seasons • played four years of basketball, earning  all-conference honors three times • played three years of soccer, earning all-conference honors twice.

PERSONAL: Born Madeline Rose Siroin in Burnsville, Minn. on June 15, 1992 • daughter of Steve Siroin and Cherie Kurtz •  Her mother ran track, including the heptathlon, at Wisconsin • has one older sister, Ashley, and five younger siblings: Stefanie, Kate, A.J., Sam and Beth • father played football at UMD • interests outside of volleyball include dancing.
