BEFORE UMD: A 2018 graduate of West Allis Central High School • voted a Woodland Conference Volleyball Scholar Athlete and was selected to the first team all-conference team • prior to moving to the Woodland Conference, claimed second team All-Greater Metro Conference selections from 2014-2016 • she was bestowed on the American Volleyball Coaches Association Watchlist in the last two seasons and, as a junior, was named to the AVCA/NCAA Phenom list • a four-year player for head coach Mel Beaudry, she has captained the prep Bulldogs each of the last three seasons and was named the most valuable player all four years she has started.

PERSONAL: Born Madison Marie Gordon in New Berlin, Wis. • daughter of Kurt and Kathy Gordon • has a younger sister, Mackenzie • spends time working with students with special needs and with photography in her spare time • aside from volleyball, participated in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and served as the president of Best Buddies • majoring in integrated elementary and special education at UMD.
