2012 OUTLOOK
Has the potential to make a case for a regular role on the outside  • comes to UMD with plenty of high-octane Junior Olympic voleyball experience • will be one of three Bulldogs charged with picking up the slack left by departed graduate Hannah Johnson.

BEFORE UMD
Spent her high school playing days as an outside hitter with Orono High School, where she earned team MVP honors in 2009 and 2011 • A three-time All-Wright County Conference honoree, Scharf captained the Spartans as a senior.

Born Mariah Elizabeth Scharf on June 3, 1994 in Minneapolis, Minn. • daughter of Scott and Jennifer Scharf • Has four siblings (Gunnar, Olivia, Elzabeth and Holden) • majoring in biochemistry at UMD.
