2012 OUTLOOK
Expected to join the UMD starting lineup on opening day and make a massive impact as a true freshman • packs a strong arm, solid net presence and is the tallest player on the Bulldog roster at 6-2 • could end up seeing favorable opportunities with opposing teams being forced to focus on the offensive abilities of Kate Lange and Kalli Lochner.

BEFORE UMD
Served as a five-year starter at Lakeville South High School, where she was a three-time All-South Suburban Conference selection at middle blocker • entrusted as a team captain in each of her final two prep seasons • named to the all-state first team as a senior in 2012 • holds the record at Lakeville South for blocks in a career.

Born Monica Rose Turner on Nov. 6, 1993 in New Prague, Minn. • duaughter of Craig and Colleen Turner • has one sister (Kathy) and three brothers (Carl, Jim, Brian and Daniel) • majoring in sports and exercise science at UMD.
