2014 (Junior): Started 33 matches for the Bulldogs while appearing in 109 games for UMD • received AVCA All-American Second Team and Daktronics All-Central Region Second Team honors • selected to All-NSIC First Team for second-straight season • had 19 kills and hit .361 against Tampa on Sept. 13 • knocked down a season-high seven blocks on two occasions, at Northern Michigan on Sept. 5 and against Sioux Falls on Sept. 20 • hit .382 with 63 kills in six postseason matches (NSIC Tournament & NCAA Tournament) • had 10+ kills in 15 games including seven of the last nine • earned NSIC Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks to start the year (Sept. 15 and 22) • earned AVCA National Player of the Week honors on Sept. 15 • finished her season with 301 kills (2.76 per game) and 99 blocks for UMD • NSIC All-Academic Team selection.
2013 (Sophomore): Started all 36 matches en route to an AVCA All-America Third Team selecetion • received AVCA All-Central Region First Team honors and second-consecutive All-NSIC First Team selection • started the year with a season-high six blocks against Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 6 • knocked down a season-high three solo blocks against Minnesota-Crookston on Sept. 19 • hit double-digits in kills in 11 games, including a season-high 14 against Southwest Minnesota on Nov. 2 • followed up a stellar freshman campaign with career-highs in kills and attack percentage.
2012 (Freshman): Started all 34 matches as the Bulldogs’ go-to middle blocker in her first season • finished fourth in hit percentage in the NSIC with a .341 mark in 113 games played • led the Bulldogs in blocks with 100 on the season (20 solo) • received All-NSIC first team honors.

BEFORE UMD: Served as a five-year starter at Lakeville South High School, where she was a three-time All-South Suburban Conference selection at middle blocker • entrusted as a team captain in each of her final two prep seasons • named to the all-state first team as a senior in 2012 • holds the record at Lakeville South for blocks in a career.
PERSONAL: Born Monica Rose Turner on Nov. 6, 1993 in New Prague, Minn. • daughter of Craig and Colleen Turner • has one sister (Cathy) and four brothers (Carl, Jim, Brian and Daniel).
