BULLDOG CAREER:
2017 (Junior) Blossomed into an AVCA first team and a D2CCA third team All-American • also bestowed AVCA and D2CCA All-Central Region first team, and All-NSIC first team as she was one of three Bulldogs to start and play in all 119 sets • became UMD's 20th 1,000-kill member (tied for 18th for most kills with Jenny Carlson) • received the AVCA and NSIC Player of the Week after erupting for 29 kills (3.62 per set), with a potent .412 attack percentage past Winona State and Upper Iowa • finished the season downing a team-high 440 kills on 812 attacks • posted the third highest hitting percentage in the nation and tops in the NSIC at .414 • totaled 230 digs and 89 blocks • set all new career marks in kills (24- Wayne State on Nov. 11), attacks (46, twice), assists (5- Wayne State on Nov. 11), digs (18- MSU Moorhead on Oct. 27), aces (6- American International on Sept. 2) and blocks (8- Northern State on Nov. 30) • accumulated eight double-doubles including six in the last seven matches • racked up a team-high 29 points in the five-set win over Northern State in the NCAA tournament • selected to the NSIC All-Academic Team.
2016 (Sophomore) Improved on her impressive freshman season, appearing in every set for the Bulldogs • piled up accolades of AVCA All-American honorable mention, AVCA All-Central Region second team, and All-NSIC first team • knocked down 323 kills, ranking second on UMD • hit for an attack percentage of .360, topping all Bulldog attackers • added 106 digs and 68 blocks on the season • picked up a career-high 18 kills against Sioux Falls on Oct. 28 • recorded a career-best seven blocks against Wayne State on Nov. 16 • in a Oct. 8 match against Minot State, hit for a Bulldog season-best .857, collecting 12 kills on 14 attacks • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2015 (Freshman) Appeared in all 31 matches and 113 games for UMD in her debut season • collected a season-high 17 kills while hitting .652 at Sioux Falls on Oct. 10 • knocked down 15 kills without a single error on 23 swings against No. 20 Augustana (S.D.) on Oct. 16 • collected a season-high 5.0 blocks against No. 24 Western Washington on Sept. 5 • dug up a season-high five defensive saves at Minnesota State on Oct. 23 • put together seven matches with double-digit kill and had five or more kills in 29 of 31 matches.

BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Chaska High School • started all four seasons for the Hawks alongside former Bulldog Erin Schindler • earned a Minnesota State championship and voted to the MSHSL All-Tournament Team • a finalist for the Ms. Baden award • earned All-Minnesota and All-Metro West Conference honors during her season and junior seasons • won AAU National Championship in 2014 and received USA National All-Tournament Team selection.

PERSONAL: Born Sarah Marie Kelly in Edina, Minn. • daughter of Gail and Brian Kelly has two siblings, Daniel and Jack • her father, aunt, and uncle all attended UMD • perusing a degree in public health at UMD.
