BEFORE UMD: Spent a pair of seasons with the Southern Illinois University program prior to his arrival at UMD ... suffered a season-ending injury in 2016 and did not play ... was a two-time Missouri Valley Football Conference Academic Honor Roll qualifier ... appeared in six games  during the 2015 season while battling injuries…finished that fall with 16 tackles (including seven solos) …began his collegiate career at Northern Colorado University, where he was redshirted in 2012 ... went on to attend San Diego Mesa College and paced the 2014 Olympians with six interceptions, including two pick sixes ... also had a hand in 21 tackles in seven games that season ... competed in both footbal land track and field at Kearny High School in San Diego, Calif. ... helped lead the Komets to an 8-3 record in his senior year, as well as a perfect 6-0 conference record ... rushed 15 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns caught 33 passes for 718 yards and two more scores ...  had 43 total tackles with two sacks and five interceptions as well.
PERSONAL: Received an undergraduate degree in exercise science from Southern Illinois and is now pursuing a Master's of Education degree from UMD.
