The University of Minnesota Duluth volleyball team received another honor today as senior Callie Zwettler was named a second team CoSIDA Academic All-District V. Zwettler is one of six players named to the second team and one of 18 between all three teams.

The Madison, Wis. native is the only one of two representatives from the North Central Conference on the three teams and one of only three from the North Central Region. Zwettler owns a 3.462 grade point average in Early Childhood Studies and is the Bulldogs leader in kills this season, with 438. She is now just 50 kills away from the UMD Career Kill Title currently held by Joylene Young (1,697).

The No. 8 Bulldogs, now 21-4 overall and 8-2 in the NCC, will complete their regular season play this weekend with matches against the University of Nebraska-Omaha and the University of North Dakota. Game time on Friday is 7 p.m., while Saturday's match will start at 4 p.m.
