The University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team will open the 2004-05 practice schedule with their annual Media Day on Monday, September 27 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. Bulldog players and members of the coaching staff will be available for pictures and interviews at that time.

The Bulldogs finished the 2003-2004 season with a 20-12-2, 15-8-1 WCHA record. The team finished third in the WCHA and just missed a return trip to the NCAA Frozen Four by finishing No. 5 in the nation. UMD's first action of the 2004-2005 campaign will be on Oct. 15-16 against, new WCHA members, the University of North Dakota at 7:05 p.m. at the DECC.
