Gascon Named to 2025-26 All-USCHO First Team for Second Consecutive Season

For a second-straight season, University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey goaltender Ève Gascon has been named a All-USCHO First Team selection


Named a Second Team 2025-26 CCM/AHCA Women's Division I All-American last month, Gascon, who was a Goalie of the Year Finalist and named the 2025-26 WCHA Goaltender of the Year -- honors she has also owned in consecutive seasons -- was also named to the 2025-26 All-WCHA First Team. The HCA Goaltender of the Month for February, she was six-times named the WCHA's Goaltender of the Week this season. The Mascouche, Quebec native was the 2025-26 WCHA Statistical Goaltending Champion after posting a league-high .943 saves percentage in league games and led the conference with 10 shutouts – the second most in all of the NCAA – and seven in WCHA play.  Gascon owned a 1.77 goals against average over all her 35 games started, played the most minutes in the league (2071:56) and posted 993 saves -- the third most in s single-season in UMD program history. Gascon also averaged 28.3 saves per game this season and owned a .942 saves percentage.


GasconvsYaleGascon's 10 shutouts tied her for the second most in season at UMD, and the junior now sits with 21 career shutouts -- the second most in program history and just two behind the record of 23.


In the last decade, only Gascon and Ashton Bell have been named two-time All-USCHO selections (Bell was a First Team in 2020-21 and a Second Team member in 2022-23, and Gascon is just the third First Team selection (twice) besides Bell, Emma Soderberg (2022-23) and Lara Stalder (2016-17). The Bulldogs as a program have had nine USCHO selections in the past 10 seasons.
