Men's Hockey

BULLDOG SPOTLIGHT: ANDREW CARROLL

Two years ago, left winger Andrew Carroll capped off a rewarding rookie season -- he rolled up the third highest goal total (13) of any University of Minnesota Duluth skater -- by helping lead the Bulldogs to a berth in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Five tournament.

The junior alternate captain and current team goal-scoring leader is now hoping to do the same this time around as he and the University of Minnesota Duluth get set to head west this weekend for a best-of-three WCHA playoff series with the University of Denver. That's the same club (who were then the two-time defending NCAA champions) Carroll and the Bulldogs ousted back in 2006 en route to to the Final Five.
