During its rich 77-year history, the University of Minnesota Duluth has been blessed with a legion of gifted ball snappers and senior Tobias Lemke certainly can be counted among them.
The pride of Essen, Germany, Lemke is his fourth year of starting duty on the Bulldog offensive line, having latched on to a first-team guard assignment as a true freshmen in 2006 before relocating to center the following season. Last fall Lemke was bestowed with Football Gazette All-American second team and All-NSIC first team honors after he and his Bulldog teammates captured the schools first NCAA Division II national title in any sport.
Lemke has proven to be just as adept at handling school work as he has at handling defensive lineman during his time at UMD. While double majoring in political science and criminology, he has compiled a 3.93 cumulative grade point average and will graduate next spring
