Originally scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start, the University of Minnesota Duluth's women's basketball games versus Winona State University has been rescheduled to tip off at 6:00 p.m. The men's game featuring the same two schools -- which was originally scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m., will get underway shortly after the completion of the women's contest.

The changes have been made because the Bulldogs football team is set to host a nationally televised NCAA II Semifinal game against Northwest Missouri State University in a rematch of the 2008 National Championship game, which UMD won by a score of 21-14. The opening kick from James S. Malosky Stadium will take place at 5:00 p.m. 

As is the case for every home basketball game, current UMD students will gain free admission to Romano Gymnasium. Non-students will be able to get in the door for $1 with a paid ticket from the football game. The Bulldog football team will be recognized for their tremendous season at halftime during the men's basketball game.
