Now holding the Bulldogs record for consecutive games played -- 108, to be exact, and counting -- senior defenseman Sarah Murray has proven to be one of the most durable players ever to wear a University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey jersey.
The native of Fairbault, Minn., has skated in 108 games in a row since breaking her ankle her rookie season in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs in 2007. Murray has suited up for 142 career skates, ranking her in a third place tie all-time among UMD alums, and since her sophomore year, has not missed game, propelling her new -- and very impressive -- Bulldog record.
