It all starts now!

The four-time defending Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football champion University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, under the direction of 10th-year head coach Bob Nielson, will conduct their first 2012 preseason practice this Saturday (Aug. 11) at 4:00 p.m. at James S. Malosky Stadium. Some 103 players are expected to be on hand.

With the exception of Aug. 25, UMD will practice at least once each day until its 2012 season opener at NSIC rival Southwest Minnesota State University on August 30.

All practices are open to the public.
