BULLDOG TOUR OF WISCONSIN CONTINUES VS. UW-PARKSIDE

Reece Zoelle (12) is averaging 10.3 points per game for the Bulldogs in 2013.
The University of Minnesota Duluth will close out its non-conference schedule on Tuesday night when the Bulldogs travel to Kenosha, Wis. to take on the Rangers of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

UMD (2-1) played a pair of games over the week, but just one counted as they faced off with Green Bay in a rare in-season exhibition on Saturday evening. The Bulldogs returned to Romano Gym with a win over UW-Superior on Tuesday night, with five players hitting double-digits scoring, led by junior Kristofer Jackson's double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds). Jackson added a pair of blocks, one steal, and two assists in the win as well. Saturday's exhibition saw junior Reece Zoelle (15) and senior Peter Crawford (10) hit double-digit scoring as the D-I Phoenix earned a 92-57 home victory.

About the Rangers
UW-Parkside (4-1) took its first fall of the season over the weekend, edged by NSIC rival St. Cloud State 87-84 in St. Cloud. Junior forward Zygimantas Riauka leads the Rangers, scoring 15.8 points per game while averaging 8.2 rebounds. Redshirt freshman Andy Mazurczak had 23 points against the Huskies and now averages 11.2 per game. Five Rangers average double-digits scoring, and UWP has averaged 88.0 points per game so far this year.

UMD owns a slim 6-4 lead in the all-time series against UW-Parkside, but fell 61-67 last season on Nov. 11, 2012.

The Bulldogs and Rangers tip-off at 7:00 p.m. in Kenosha tomorrow night.
