UMD added three more shots on net in the second half, but NDSU's Kate McCormick stopped them all while the Bison tallied an insurance goal for the 3-1 final. In all, the Bulldogs had 11 shots including five on net while four other shots were blocked by the Bison defense.
Rosa finished with four saves for the Bulldogs, who will be on the road next Sunday for their NSIC opener with St. Cloud State University.
