Logan Lauters have all received Daktronics All-Super Region Three recognition for 2014. Grady and Muer both were named to the Daktronics first team while Lauters was a second team selection.
Grady, a second-year starter and a 2014 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division first team honoree from Minnetonka, Minn., currently shares the Bulldog lead in tackles with 73 and has been credited with eight stops for a loss, one interception, a team-high four quarterback hurries, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
Muer, who has been selected to the All-NSIC North Division first team in each of the past two seasons, is winding down his third year of starting duty with the No. 2 ranked Bulldogs. The Perham, Minn., native anchors a front line that has helped paved the way for the nation's eighth best rushing (289.7 yards per game) and scoring (42.8 points per game) offense in the country.
Lauters, another 2014 All-NSIC North Division first teamer, has rolled up 1,448 yards -- the fourth-highest single-season rushing total in program history -- and is averaging 7.0 yards per carry, which ranks ninth nationally. This fall, the Cedarburg, Wis., product has eclipsed the 100-yard run barrier on seven occasions, including last Saturday when he finished with 161 yards on a career-high 32 carries in UMD's 48-45 overtime playoff win at Ouachita Baptist University in the NCAA II playoffs.
UMD, which at 13-0 leads all NCAA II schools in victories, is at Minnesota State University-Mankato Saturday for the NCAA II Super Region Three championship.
