Andrew Muer's collegiate football career has been over for nearly two months, but the postseason honors still continue to flow in for the University of Minnesota Duluth's highly-decorated offensive lineman.
Today the Perham, Minn., native landed a spot on the D2Football.com All-American second team -- his school-record tying sixth All-American citation of 2014. Last month Muer received that same recognition from the Associated Press (first team), American Football Coaches Association (first team), USA College Football (first team), Beyond Sports Network (second team) and Daktronics (third team). Muer, a third-year starter, anchored a front line for a Bulldog offense that ranked eighth among all NCAA Division II clubs in rushing yardage (282.5 yards per game), 11th in scoring (40.9 points per game) and second in first downs (348) this fall. The two-time All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate North Division first team pick (2014 and 2013) also received All-Super Region Three first team acclaim from Daktronics, Don Hansen and Beyond Sports Network in 2014.
