Emilee Trost has been named the first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for 2015-16
Trost, a native of Goodhue, Minn., posted a winning time of 9:48.7 in the 3,000-meter run at The Opener Meet last Saturday at the College of St. Scholastica. That not onlly the Burns Wellness Fieldhouse record, but was an NCAA Division II provisional qualiftying mark -- and the fastest clocking in the nation thus far.
Trost and her Bulldog teammates will be off until Jan. 9 when they compete in the Bethel University Open.
