University of Minnesota Duluth junior Avery Pottoff placed 14th at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Pentathlon Championships in Mankato, Minn.

Pottoff, making her second appearance at this event (she was 17th one year ago), accumulated 2,398 points. Her best finish in any of the five competitions came in the shot put, where her toss of 31-04.5 was good for eighth place.

Pottoff was the Bulldogs' lone competitor in Mankato, Minn,. Sunday.
