After spending six weeks in the No. 2 spot, the University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team checked in at third in both the USCHO.com and USA TODAY/USA Hockey Magazine's latest national polls.

The move reflects the NCAA's official Pairwise ranking, which slotted the Bulldogs with the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.  UMD will host the No. 5 University of Minnesota in the NCAA Quarterfinals this Saturday at AMSOIL Arena at 2:37 p.m.

The Bulldogs have spent 21-consecutive weeks in the top-10 rankings this season
