Scott Sandelin and seven of his Bulldogs are
finalists and or nominees for 11 National Collegiate Hockey Conference post-season awards for the 2016-17 season The winners will be announced on March 16 at the annual NCHC Awards Celebration at Muse Event Center in Minneapolis on the eve of the fourth annual NCHC Frozen Faceoff.
The seven Bulldogs include freshman right winger Joey Anderson (Rookie of the Year), senior left winger Alex Iafallo (Player of the Year/Forward of the Year), sophomore left winger/center Adam Johnson (Three Stars Award), junior right winger Karson Kuhlman (Defensive Forward/Sportmanship), freshman goalie Hunter Miska (Rookie of the Year/Goaltender of the Year/Three Stars), sophomore defenseman Neal Pionk (Defensive Defenseman of the Year/Offensive Defenseman of the Year) and senior center Dominic Toninato (Defensive Forward of the Year).
