In its only Sunday game of the season, the University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team roared back to defeat St. Cloud State University, 59-54.
Down by as many as 12 points, the Bulldogs (6-3; 5-1 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) climbed their way back thanks in large part to freshman forward
Brooke Olson's fourth quarter performance. Olson tallied 10 points in the final quarter, helping UMD erase a nine-point deficit with 8:04 left in the game. The freshman would finish with a career-high in points (17) and rebounds (10).

Huskies' Katrina Theis also garnered a double-double, finishing with 10 boards and 12 points, all coming in the second half. Â

The Bulldogs found it tough to get the ball in the net in the first 10 minutes, connecting on just 2-of-14 (14.3 percent) shots. Things picked up throughout the game, but UMD would finish with its third worst shooting game of the season (32.8 percent). The team did find success at the free-throw line, knocking down 14-of-17 (82.4 percent), including going a perfect 8-for-8 in the fourth.
