During the past four seasons, Matt Juneau been a constant in University of Minnesota Duluth lineup as this Saturday night at James S. Malosky the senior offensive tackle is expected to make his 36th consecutive start. That is by far the longest such streak of any current Bulldog.
"Matt definitely has grown over the years,"Â said UMD assistant coach Peter Lue, who has overseen the Bulldogs' offensive linemen since 2006. "This season, he has become a better leader not only through what he says, but what he does. Since coming here, Matt has gotten bigger and stronger and has learned to finish plays. His biggest assets are his athleticism and his intelligence. That's what has helped make him a four-year starter."
It's also helped make the Brooklyn Park, Minn., product a three-time All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honoree (second team in 2016 and 2015 and honorable mention last fall).
