The University of Minnesota Duluth and Concordia University, St. Paul battled to a scoreless stalemate for the third consecutive season. The Bulldogs led in shots 19-11 but neither team could muster great shots on goal as conditions were foggy, wet and blustery all throughout the match.
UMD, which has been held winless in the last three matches, goes to 2-5-1 and 1-3-1 in the Northern Sun IntercollegiateĀ Conference. The Golden Bears stay unbeaten as they go to a record of 5-0-2 and 2-0-2 in conference play.
The Bulldogs had a fury of opportunitiesĀ late in regulation and in the first overtime session. UMD had a pair of corner kicks with 90 seconds on clock and had three shots blocked inside the box.
