The University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team squared off against MSU Moorhead in Aberdeen, SD on Sunday afternoon. The teams played at Northern State's facility due to snow. The two teams tied, with the Bulldogs now carrying a 4-6-1 record (2-5-1 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) on the year. The Dragons now carry a 3-3-4 record (1-3-3 in the NSIC) on the year.

UMD managed to put up 16 shots on the day, with nine being on net. MSUM put eight shots up on the day, with six of them being on net.

The first was intense but neither team was able to find the back of the net. The Bulldogs couldn't find any momentum despite getting 3 corners in the half and putting up seven shots. The Dragons were able to get four shots in the half.

Sarah Stange was able to hammer home a loose ball in front of the net. The ball came out to sophomore forward
Mandy Conkel who crossed it from the left side. Freshman forward
Erin Walpole redirected the cross into an MSUM defender. Stange pounded it home. The Dragons responded within 10 minutes on a loose ball in front of the net off of a corner. MSUM's Maren Soupir scored on the ensuing scrum.

The Bulldogs were unable to put one away in either overtime despite out shooting the Dragons 5-1 in both overtime periods.
