After being dealt its first loss of the 2019 season -- a 5-2 decision to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference rival Winona State University -- on Saturday night, the University of Minnesota Duluth bounced back by toppling Upper Iowa University by that same score one day later in another league match at the Sta-Fit Tennis Center in Sartell, Minn.
The Bulldogs are now 5-1 overall and 3-1 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
Both sophomore
Natalie Cahill (No. 3) and freshman
Ally Tiedemann (No. 5) went 2-0 in singles over the weekend while rookie
Sophie Lynch (No. 4) and sophomore

Cahill stayed perfect in singles this season at 6-0 while Tiedemann and Thiner own 5-1 marks. The Bulldogs as a team have gone 26-10 in singles thus far.
